George Lucas reveals his only concern with Baby Yoda

Although George Lucas sold Lucasfilms, and with that Star Wars, to Disney in 2012, responsible for this very, very distant universe still has a number of opinions regarding the new films and series we have seen in recent years. Now, thanks to the book of _ The Art of the Mandalorian Season Two _, We know what was the greatest concern that Lucas had about Baby Yoda.

In this book, Dave Filoni, producer and creator of The Mandalorian revealed that George Lucas was concerned about the participation and weight that Grogu would have in the series . Fortunately, he also responsible for The Clone Wars took these comments, and worked on them. This was what he commented:

“I had a conversation with George, at one point, about Baby Yoda, and the main concern about him was that he should have an adequate amount of training.”

Although during the first season of The Mandalorian Baby Yoda’s training was not something so important, the second season took us little by little by the teachings of the Jedi, something that culminated in the sixth episode of The Book of Boba Fett, Where we saw Luke Skywalker train Grogu.

On related topics, the third season of The Mandalorian would arrive at the end of this year. Similarly, Gameplay arises from a game of The Mandalorian.

Editor’s note:

George Lucas on Disney's Sequel Trilogy
Although the relationship between Grogu and strength is something we have seen throughout the series, it is the relationship between Baby Yoda and Din the one that has really created a story that He is able to connect with all people. Hopefully the Star Wars universe keep finding a balance between these two ideas.
