Masayoshi Yokoyama, head of the developer studio, explained that the development of Yakuza 8 is progressing well.
Yokoyama announced that new information about the game could be published later this year.
Nevertheless, there will probably be no news about the game in the near future.
Yakuza fans can already look forward to another gripping part.
In November last year it was confirmed that the game will play a few years after Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Ichiban Kasuga will return as a protagonist.
The developers have also confirmed that Yakuza 8, like its predecessor, will be a round -based RPG.
