White eye animals in God of War Ragnarök
All God of War Ragnarök animals that you see in Ironwood not only have white eyes as a style choice, but is certainly visually chilling. However, the truth is a little more spooky. As you learn quickly during history, animals are like this because they lack the soul . To be more specific, their souls were stolen by Anybody’s grandmother, Gala. This is done so that Gala can experience his memories.
White eyes are not the only side effect either. As a result of the theft of their souls, animals are essentially peels that have no way of sustaining themselves. You can’t find food or even defend themselves. The only thing that keeps them alive is that Anybody is responsible for caring for them as they cannot. She takes care of what her grandmother’s magic leaves when Gala doesn’t take care of them.
